Half-sister to Bulleteer who won twice over a mile; denied just half a length on debut by the short priced favourite Florida Keys; knuckled down well and battled on right to the line; can improve from that and looks the one to beat.
Expecting FLASHLIGHT to have too much for her rivals here. She ran a promising race on debut only giving way late to the short priced favourite and was nicely clear from the rest. With usual improvement from one run to the next she will be tough to beat so it’s no surprise to see her a short price in the market. Fearofmissingout could only finish sixth on debut but is entitled to step forward too and can emerge out the pack as the main danger to the selection.

Vaal 12.30 Local Knowledge (5/2)
Improving sort who ran his best race to date when second over C&D last month; had been gelded since last run and cheekpieces also helped so big player if kicking on again; this might not take much winning.
This looks a good chance for LOCAL KNOWLEDGE to make the breakthrough. He improved to finish second last time and this doesn’t look a strong race so he would have to be a leading hope to go one better for Mike De Kock. It will be interesting to see if they make use of him. Western Park was beaten 12 lengths last time so needs to improve to trouble the favourite. It shows you how weak the race is given he is as short as he is in the betting given recent form. Light Warrior can also improve and be thereabouts.
