Race 8 Saratoga 10.14 Happy Saver (11/8)
Half-brother to Happy Cause and looked a very smart recruit winning impressively on his racecourse debut at Belmont last month; drew clear to win by over 5 lengths at the line; sure to improve and looks an exciting prospect.
Looking forward to seeing HAPPY SAVER again at Saratoga tonight. He couldn’t really have won any more impressively on debut and while he’ll need to improve to remain unbeaten he is almost certain to do so and looks a great bet to follow up. One to stick with not just today but going forward as well. High Amplitude has been consistent so should run his race. Basquiat may put up the most resistance although does need to bounce back from a lacklustre effort last time.

Race 6 Saratoga 9.04 Cost Benefit (7/4)
Promising filly who made the perfect start making all the running to win well at Belmont on debut last month; sure to step forward from that and could be a tough nut to crack for top connections; hard to get away from.
Sticking with the likeable COST BENEFIT here. She is a half-sister to Fiesole who won four times over hurdles at two miles and four times on the Flat between 1m2f and 1m4f. She made a winning start over a mile and I can see Joel Rosario making full use of her again here given she has stamina in abundance. She will improve from that initial run and looks hard to oppose. Pop A Choc and Primacy only take their chances if this switches to the dirt so the selection is likely to go off short. Jazzique can chase her home.
