Race 8 Delaware Park 9.45 Bourbon Street (11/8)
Took it up early hard against the rail and dominated impressively at Maryland last time; high cruising speed had them all in trouble; back slightly in trip so start will be crucial but hard to oppose in current form.
This is tougher for BOURBON STREET as he is up slightly in grade and there is plenty of competition for the lead but the way he won last time was very impressive and given he scored over 6f here three runs back he has plenty going for him tonight. He will look to push forward and dominate and I’m not sure anything in this field has the cruising speed to live with him early. We know he finds under pressure so I think he’ll have too much when they set down for the fight up the straight. Candygramformongo will try and pick them up late but he will be on the back foot so may always be struggling before staying on at the finish. Ruling is going the right way but needs more again.

Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.52 Lune Lake (11/8)
Likeable mare who is chasing a hat-trick following two convincing wins at this track; won five of her last six so couldn’t be in better form right now; got a lovely toe into it last time before picking up well; tough to oppose.
The red-hot LUNE LAKE looks set to make it six wins from her last seven at Finger Lakes tonight. No Stone Unturned should push forward and I can see her just tracking the pace through before getting on top in the straight. She has plenty of gears and is taken to justify favouritism again tonight. Party In The Raine continues to run to a consistent level and will win one of these again soon. Her previous form looks solid so she shouldn’t be discounted easily here. Amers had Ma Meatloaf back in third when winning over 6f here last time so also has to come into the reckoning but I’ll be surprised if she has enough to overhaul the favourite who’s claims are glaringly obvious to me.
