Premier League Bet of the Day

TODAY’S BET OF THE DAY KICKS-OFF AT 12:30PM

After a decent first week of the season, week two is here with the Manchester clubs entering the mix. I have gone for an acca which includes all 4 games. All of which are televised.

The Bet Builder accas will be back next week once we have more stats to go on.

Everton v West Brom (12:30) – Everton to win

Contrasting performances in week 1 of the season, Everton really impressed at Spurs and the win looked more confutable than the 1-0 scoreline suggests. West Brom on the other hand were rolled over by Leicester at home 3-0. Everton have added further class to their team whereas West Brom aren’t any better than when in the Championship and will have a long afternoon at Goodison.

  • Everton have won 3 in-a-row
  • West Brom have won once in their last 7 games (against Harrogate)

Leeds v Fulham (3pm) – Over 1.5 Goals

Both newly promoted sides loads on the first day of the season with very different performances. Leeds went to Anfield and were clinical against Liverpool in the entertaining 4-3 loss. Fulham hosted Arsenal and offered hardly anything going forward in the 3-0 loss. Leeds look the better side and should win but I am going for goals as both defences look like conceding.

  • This fixture in June finished 3-0 to Leeds.
  • 7/8 of the last 8 games between the sides have finished with over 1.5 goals.

Man Utd v Crystal Palace (5:30) – Man Utd to win

Man Utd finally start their season after a well needed extra week off. Crystal Palace won their first game but we dominated by Southampton at Selhurst Park last Saturday and it took a good defensive performance to hold out. Crystal Palace won’t be able to hold on like that every week and without adding quality to the squad they will struggle and that could start on Saturday evening at Old Trafford.

  • Man Utd have won 6 of the last 8 against Crystal Palace.
  • Man Utd beat Crystal Palace 2-0 just a few months ago in July.

Arsenal v West Ham (8pm) – Arsenal to win

I thought Arsenal would be a lot shorter priced favourites for this game with West Ham looking awful last week. They were brushed aside by an average Newcastle side 2-0 at home and things don’t look to be getting better at the club. Arsenal have really turned it around under Arteta but it is hard to know if they were very good last weekend or Fulham were just poor (could be the latter). That said West Ham are pretty poor and Arsenal should win at the Emirates.

  • Arsenal won both fixtures last season (1-0 and 3-1).
  • Arsenal have won 5 in-a-row
