THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT FORT ERIE ON TUESDAY NIGHT!
Race 5 Fort Erie 9.06 Honduras (11/10)
Quite a lot of speed on last time but managed to secure a good position before making headway on the turn and proving strongest up the straight; beat the right horse into second and looks to have been found another winnable opportunity.
No surprise if HONDURAS records a quick-fire double here. He showed plenty to win well over 5f on turf last time and stepping back up in trip back on dirt he looks to have leading claims in this field. There doesn’t look to be too much speed on here with quite a few of these preferring to be held up so the selection should race handily early before getting first run on them. Divine Ami is the closest in the betting but he was behind Been Waiting last time so has a bit of work to do to reverse that. Uncle Lou has the form to be thereabouts but again has a bit to find especially with the favourite. Bronze Age is the only other runner who will go forward so he may end up holding on for second.

Race 6 Belterra Park 8.00 Buckeye Magic (13/8)
Promising colt who shaped with with plenty of encouragement on debut when making up good late ground in the straight to finish a closing third; should know a lot more now and rates the one to beat with crucial experience on side.
Only half the field have run before and of those with experience BUCKEYE MAGIC is a confident selection to come out on top. The penny really dropped late on and he ran on well for pressure. He should know a lot more and with usual improvement from one run to the next he will be hard to beat here. It’s a weak maiden and that’s reflected in his price. If there was competition I’d expect him to be more of an 11/4 shot but he is 13/8 and will probably go off shorter come post time. Exprimir is a half-brother to Mitos Y Leyendas and looks the most interesting of the debutants. Around a 7/2 chance so wouldn’t want to see too much support in the market.
