THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT THISTLEDOWN ON MONDAY NIGHT AS WE LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK!
Race 7 Thistledown 8.50 Limonite (5/4)
Lemon Drop Kid colt who cost $100,000 at the sales and was firmly back on track showing a good attitude to prevail by a head last time; this easier if anything and looks to have leading claims of following up under Sonny Leon.
Not the most inspiring night Stateside but hopefully we’ve still dug out some winners for you. We head to Thistledown for our best bet to start the week and LIMONITE is expected to justify favouritism in Race 7 on the card. He is open to improvement and did well to get back to winning ways last month. With the promise of more to come in an easier contest he should have these rivals covered. Franco is in good form so should be thereabouts. Lacks the potential of the favourite though so it will be disappointing if he manages to get the better of him. Gizmo Jones is probably the main danger as he has won three of his last four and bumped into a decent horse last time.

Race 3 Finger Lakes 7.04 Too Many Tales (7/4)
Promising filly who looked to be going places landing back-to-back wins here before blowing out last time; probably just needed it back from 293 days off the track and given a bit of time since could resume her progression now.
Sticking with TOO MANY TALES here. This filly looks capable of better and if you forgive her that latest effort her profile is very appealing especially in the context of this race. It’s not surprising to see her favourite for this and 7/4 looks a very good bet – I think she’ll go off a lot shorter come post time. Seaport Storm left previous form behind to win by 6 lengths over track and trip last time and is probably the one to put up the most resistance to the favourite. This is tougher though so she’ll need more to pose a threat. Crossing Alaska has the most experience and often runs well but at the same time usually finds one or two too good and that looks a similar scenario here.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Finger Lakes and Thistledown on Monday night.
