THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT THISTLEDOWN AGAIN ON TUESDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Thistledown 8.20 Dinesen (11/8)
Dug in for pressure and kept finding all the way to the line to win on penultimate start with a few of these in behind; not beaten far last time in what looked a better race; looks to have leading credentials.
The NAP won Stateside last night so hopefully we can put a string of results together now. DINESEN looked good on penultimate start and while he was beaten last time he was far from disgraced and holds rivals B Dubya and Dorothys Boy on that latest piece of form. Great Sky drew clear to win nicely last time and looks the one to give the favourite most to think about. I do think this is a better race though and obviously the favourite looks to have a class edge. Tropical Cyclone is the 14/1 outsider but I do think he can run better than his odds suggest so I wouldn’t rule him out taking second if Great Sky does for whatever reason disappoint.

THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT FINGER LAKES AGAIN ON TUESDAY!
Race 1 Finger Lakes 6.10 Deficit Hawk (6/4)
Found plenty for pressure to rally and get back on top over 6f here last time; deserved that win as had been knocking on the door for a while finishing second four times in a row prior to that; could be more to come now he’s got his head back in front.
Sticking with last time out winner DEFICIT HAWK here. He probably does need to kick on again here but his confidence will be buoyed by that latest victory and he appeals as the most likely winner for me. Rico Capote is expected to set an honest gallop and I can see the selection just settling midpack early before picking them off one by one up the straight. Could go off a lot shorter than the 6/4 on offer now. Frosty The Dragon bolted up by over 5 lengths last time so has to be respected off the back of that performance. Clearly the main danger. Macho Miah won by a neck and then ran second to Magic Roy last time so also comes into the reckoning.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Finger Lakes and Thistledown again on Tuesday night.
