Race 6 Churchill Downs 7.36 Attachment Rate (11/10)
Useful colt who has been highly tried; down the field in a Grade 1 behind Authentic and Tiz The Law last time so that best forgiven; second in a $200K event prior to that and sets a clear standard; should be too good for this bunch.
We head to Churchill Downs for our best bet Stateside tonight and ATTACHMENT RATE is fancied to get back to winning ways. He has been mixing it with some of the best recently and this is a great deal easier. His second to Art Collector on penultimate start is the form to focus on and if he runs to that sort of level then quite simply he should take this out. Guided Missile made a bright start winning on debut over 7f and could be a nice sort but this is obviously a great deal harder and it will test his credentials. One Nation has the form to battle it out for a place along with Luna’s In Charge who finished a spot in front of the former last time. Fully expecting the favourite to take this out.

Race 3 Churchill Downs 6.00 Tactician (11/8)
Bits and pieces of good form and been running in better company than this recently so every reason to expect further improvement now in these calmer waters; no surprise if he justifies favouritism here.
This is very winnable so the vote goes to TACTICIAN to finally open his account. He has some strong form in the book and hasn’t been disgraced lately in much better company. Dropped into an easier race he can make the breakthrough. Blankenbaker is the only conceivable danger for me. He had excuses when third last time and is probably better than that so should put up the most resistance. Hopefully they go a fairly good clip early as that will suit the selection. Hex was only sixth last time but was only beaten 4 lengths so may be thereabouts for a place. If the selection runs his race then he should be too good for these. I’ll be surprised if Detective or Carrier Pigeon can land a blow.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They both run at Churchill Downs on Thursday night.
