Best bets Stateside on Sunday night
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered EIGHT meetings and picked out our best bets.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK AND RUNS AT WOODBINE ON SUNDAY NIGHT!
Race 2 Woodbine 6.38 Bode’s Maker (11/8)
Useful type who has won his last two on turf including a career best last time, driving clear by 2 lengths at the line; looks to have been found the right race to follow up and appeals as the most likely winner.
Both The Boss Factor and Court Battle may push forward here so I think I want to see BODE’S MAKER just track them through. He is clearly thriving right now and he looked a happy horse winning over shorter here last time. If he backs that performance up which he should given he is open to improvement on turf then he should have these covered. He is quite short in the market already but that’s with good reason. The Boss Factor would probably be the one I fear most as he ran well when second to Glenville Gardens over track and trip last time and that form brings him right into it. At a bigger price Solar has been running in better contests than this so could run into a place at a nice price.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT BELMONT ON SUNDAY!
Race 3 Belmont 6.17 Cadencia (2/1)
Promising filly who shaped with plenty of ability when denied just a neck on debut over a mile here in September; sure to take a big step forward from that now and looks the one to beat in this field; big chance.
We head to Belmont on Sunday night for our second best bet and CADENCIA looks primed to go one better. She ran a really encouraging race on debut and with that under her belt she can take the required step forward to open her account. Technical Analysis is a Kingman filly who is probably the most interesting debutant. Wouldn’t want to see too much support for her but I do think experience will count for plenty so happy to oppose on this occasion. Reina Del Sol finished third on debut and that certainly wasn’t a bad effort so she is also entitled to get involved. Wouldn’t surprise me if she was the one to chase the favourite home.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Belmont and Woodbine on Sunday night.
