Race 5 Golden Gate Fields 10.45 Easy Game (11/8)
Looks a cut above these; showed a great attitude to make a winning debut for this barn in August and two big runs in defeat since, placing the last twice over track and trip; this easier and clearly in great form so rates the one to beat.
Tarnawa was sparkling in the Breeders’ Cup Turf last night, showing a sensational turn of foot to pick them up and win well. Back down to earth tonight but still some good bets to be had Stateside and we head to Golden Gate where EASY GAME is fancied to justify favouritism. He looked good winning on debut for this yard and has caught the eye the last twice. This is easier and he is expected to get back to winning ways. Tina’s Exchange ran an encouraging race when third on his first try on this surface last time. Entitled to get involved if building on that and previous turf form reads well. Should chase the selection home! Of the rest Arno’s Mane Man wasn’t beaten far last time and is also feared.

Race 5 Woodbine 8.28 Magic Spin (11/8)
Promising colt who left debut run well behind beaten a nose over the extended 5f here in July; probably improved on return when going down just a neck; will tighten up physically and open to further improvement so obvious chance.
We head to Woodbine on Sunday night for the NB Stateside and MAGIC SPIN is who I want to be with in Race 5 on the card. This colt is on the upgrade judging by his last two efforts and with more to come should have too much for these. Arzak finished tired on debut but can step forward from that and is one to be fearful of. Tragically Quewick was a couple of places behind the selection last time and may be the one to chase him home here. At a bigger price Eastwind had excuses on debut and is probably better than that so looks overpriced as a result. I do think the favourite has all angles covered though and I’ll be disappointed if he can’t take full advantage.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Woodbine and Golden Gate Fields on Sunday night.
