THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND IS NOW CHASING A 6-TIMER ON FRIDAY!
Chepstow 2.50 Enzo D’Airy (1/1)
Impressed on chase debut 12 days ago slamming a horse chasing a hat-trick in second; looks well-in turned out quickly under a penalty and the one they all have to beat given he’s open to further improvement.
The NAP won again on Thursday so we head into Friday chasing down a SIX-TIMER and we attention is drawn to Chepstow. ENZO D’AIRY ran out an impressive winner on chase debut at Stratford earlier this month and a 7lb penalty won’t be enough to anchor him if in the same mood as he is effectively 5lb well-in. He can only improve from that initial effort over fences and won’t mind the forecasted testing conditions. Eclair D’Ainay is unexposed for Dan Skelton but does need to step up on what we’ve seen in this sphere. Wouldn’t want to see too much market support. If he does remain relatively unfancied then Out On The Tear can emerge as the danger. Should run well if taking to fences.

Gowran Park 12.47 Galopin Des Champs (1/1)
French recruit who catches the eye for top stable; won his only previous start at Auteuil despite running markedly wide off an early bend; holds entires in a Grade 2 on Saturday and the Grade 1 Royal Bond later in the month; could be a smart prospect.
We head over to Ireland for our second best bet of the day and Willie Mullins French recruit GALOPIN DES CHAMPS could be a very useful individual. He beat a big field on debut at Auteuil despite showing sings of inexperience. He is sure to improve now and holds some notable entires including a Grade 1 so they must think a fair bit of him. It’s no surprise to see him a short price here and I fancy him to take care of this field and remain unbeaten. Mighty Blue is second fav and looks the obvious danger. She is by Authorized and was last seen chasing home Barrington Court on the Flat as Naas. If she takes to hurdling she can give the favourite a race but I’ll be surprised if she beats him.
