Best bets Stateside on Friday night
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered FIVE meetings and picked out our best bets.
The NAP was scratched last night so we’re still chasing a double. We head to Woodbine for our best bet tonight. Also racing from Aqueduct, Gulfstream Park West, Churchill Downs and Del Mar.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) IS ON A DOUBLE! RUNS AT WOODBINE ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Woodbine 12.16 The Boss Factor (13/8)
Really impressed last time picking up well to assert in good style and win by a commanding 3 lengths; remains open to further improvement and looks well placed to follow up switched to a synthetic surface.
Last time out winner THE BOSS FACTOR looks well placed to strike again! He impressed me last time building on a promising run when second over this trip on turf before winning comfortably last time. He is clearly going the right way and looks a major player again switched to a synthetic surface. I know this demands more but in his current form I think he’s up to the task. Told It All has been running in better races than this and while he was thrashed last time he’ll find this a great deal easier so has to be respected. He does have a bit to prove though so I think he’s opposable with the selection. Coleyville also has the form to be a factor and shouldn’t be entirely ruled out.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) HAS BEEN IN GREAT FORM AND RUNS AT GULFSTREAM TONIGHT!
Race 6 Gulfstream Park West 8.05 Tons Of Gold (2/1)
Promising colt who won convincingly over track and trip on penultimate start before breaking slowly last time and having excuses; can gain compensation now and should be more to come so one to keep safe.
We head to Gulfstream Park West on Friday night for our second best bet Stateside and TONS OF GOLD should take care of these granted usual luck in-running. He impressed me on penultimate start winning by 3 lengths in better company than this and if he bounces back and breaks alertly he will take some stopping here. Red Fog was a place behind the selection last time and is a horse I like and I think he’s overpriced again in here so he might be worth an each way saver. I can see him running better than his odds suggest anyway and he can sometimes attract support late. Rags For Britches won last time but this is tougher so he needs more.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gulfstream Park West and Woodbine on Friday night.
