Monday’s Best Bets
The NAP was back to winning ways on Sunday as Misty Whisky won well at Uttoxeter. We head to Kempton for our best bet on Monday and we also have racing from Musselburgh, Ludlow, Dundalk and Chelmsford.
Scroll down to find our most confident selections (NAP & NB) PLUS race-by-race picks for every race across all FIVE meetings.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED YESTERDAY AND HAS NOW WON 6 TIMES IN THE LAST 8 DAYS!
Kempton 2.00 Indefatigable (5/4)
Smart type who ended last season winning the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham, edging out Pileon by a short head; given a pipe-opener on the Flat last month so should be fit; obvious chance of making a winning return.
The NAP was back to winning ways on Sunday as Misty Whisky stayed on strongly to win at Uttoxeter. We head to Kempton to start a new week and INDEFATIGABLE should make the most of a good opportunity. She was last seen over hurdles winning the Martin Pipe and with a run on the Flat last month she should be fit enough to do herself justice now. Storm Goddess is coming into this off the back of a win and will enjoy going up in trip so is a danger and Cill Anna is better than what we saw at Wincanton last time. They’ll all have to go some to peg back this favourite though who I think is very good. Bannixtown Glory and Champagne Lilly should put good pace to the race which will suit the fav.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT LUDLOW ON MONDAY AFTERNOON!
Ludlow 3.20 House Island (7/4)
Useful hurdler who showed plenty of encouragement on first try over fences when second to Kalooki on return at Newbury; can leave that behind now and looks a good bet to open his account in this sphere.
Pileon obviously did well over hurdles but he looks prone to an error or two over these larger obstacles and if HOUSE ISLAND doesn’t let him settle then I think the latter will come out on top. He showed there was plenty to work on when runner-up at Newbury and with usual improvement could open his account here. I do think it’s between the pair but Annsam should have a bright future over fences so isn’t one to completely rule out either. He won three times from five starts over hurdles and just raced too freely when coming down on chase bow at Exeter 12 days ago. This is a good race but he should do better in time so it will be interesting to see if he runs well here.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Kempton and Ludlow on Monday afternoon.
