Race 9 Remington Park 9.44 Oh What Luck (4/5)
Promising type who is unbeaten in three runs to date; very impressive in stronger company than this on penultimate start and made the perfect return over the extended 5f last month; more to come and hard to oppose.
The Stateside NAP went in again last night so we’re on a hat-trick as we start a new week and OH WHAT LUCK is taken to extend his winning sequence. He will be a short price but that’s with good reason as he looks to make it a perfect 4-4. He is lightly raced for a 5yo and there could be lots more to come yet. This looks another good stepping stone before going onto better things. Troy Ounce has knocked on the door the last twice since winning over 7f here in September and has to be respected. Wouldn’t surprise me if he emerged as the main danger to the selection. Sedaris was behind that colt last time so has his work cutout to reverse that form. Soul Ready should also run well back on dirt.

Likeable filly who put it altogether to finally make the breakthrough over 6f here last month, keeping on well; more to come now and the step back up in trip can help; looks sure to go close in this field.
Last time out winner DEB’S ALL OUT looks set to go well again at Mahoning Valley tonight. She did it well last time having been given quite a bit of ground to make up and looks to be heading in the right direction now. She remains open to further improvement and if she steps forward again she will be hard to stop here. Power Banker was runner-up over 6f last time and some of her form stacks up so she is a big threat. Kist needs to better what we’ve seen but she is unexposed so also enters calculations. At the bigger prices Aiken Apple put in a big run to win at Thistledown in September but hasn’t been as good the last twice so if bouncing back might run into a place at decent odds.
Evening Double
