THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT SOUTHWELL ON FRIDAY!
Southwell 6.45 Heron (7/4)
Took advantage of a tumbling mark to justify favouritism over C&D last month, staying on well; 5lb rise won’t be enough to stop him if in the same mood here; looks well placed so hard to get away from.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure yesterday so confidence is high heading into Friday’s racing. We head to Southwell where HERON looks a great bet to justify favouritism following his convincing win over track and trip last month. He is up 5lb but has won off a mark of 60 in the past so should win if in the same form. Shine Baby Shine is the obvious danger as she struck over C&D last month before disappointing up in trip last time. She has a bit to prove off the back of that so that’s what tilted it towards the favourite but she could emerge as the threat back in trip. Amourie is still a maiden after 17 attempts and needs to find more from somewhere to shake-up the selection.

Newcastle 3.40 Bushypark (15/8)
Likeable type who completed the 4-timer in good style at Doncaster last month; obviously he is under different conditions here running on the AW with no obstacles but clearly a horse at the top of his game; sure to go well.
These ‘Jumpers’ Bumper’ races can be tricky but BUSHYPARK is a standout at Newcastle. He rattled off four win in a row over hurdles at Doncaster last month and trying this discipline for the first time looks the one to beat. This sort of race does ask a different question of him but at 15/8 I think it’s worth chancing him as I did expect him to be shorter. He doesn’t lack speed and appeals as the most likely winner here. Zamarkhan was closing in when falling 2 out at Musselburgh and might suit this sort of test. He looks one of the dangers. Mccrackens Gate is the other one that caught the eye as he did well to win at Southwell last month and is quite a big price.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. IT WON YESTERDAY and they run at Newcastle and Southwell on Friday.
