THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT SANTA ANITA TONIGHT!
Race 9 Santa Anita 12.05 Jolie Olimpica (11/8)
Useful mare who made a winning start Stateside winning a Grade 3 here a year ago; last seen chasing home Rushing Fall in a Grade 1 at Keeneland; goes well fresh and should be too classy for this field.
The NAP won again Stateside last night so our red-hot form continues. The US DD is now chasing a FOUR-TIMER which I don’t think we’ve done before. We head to Santa Anita for our best bet tonight and proven Grade 1 performer JOLIE OLIMPICA looks a standout to win the Las Cienegas Stakes. She goes well fresh and is expected to have too much for Oleksandra. I expect the pair to dominate this field as they just look a cut above on all known form. It will be interesting to see who goes forward but I don’t expect the selection to be far away and it wouldn’t surprise me if she tries to make it. Lighthouse also brings winning form to the table but she has something to find with the market principals.

Race 5 Aqueduct 7.20 Violent Point (7/4)
Promising filly who showed a great attitude to get on top and win gamely over track and trip last month; can build on that as lightly raced on dirt and if she steps forward again she will be tough to stop.
The NB Stateside is now on a remarkable SEVEN-TIMER and we head to Aqueduct tonight where VIOLENT POINT looks to have a great chance of winning again. The market has this between the latter and New York Rock Star and I fancy the pair to dominate. The selection showed a good attitude to win last time and given she is open to improvement still she looks to have a major shout of following up. New York Rock Star made a winning return before running creditably in third last month. This trip probably suits her better so she is definitely a danger. Lune Lake was on a real roll before blowing out in this grade last time. She is the sort to bounce back though so might be value to run into a place.
