NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) WAS BACK TO WINNING WAYS YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT CHELMSFORD TODAY!
Chelmsford 4.55 Trepidation (11/10)
Opened his account in good style at Wolverhampton earlier this month with the form already working out well; big run in defeat when second at Kempton a day later, just racing too keenly; the one to beat again.
It’s hard to pick holes in TREPIDATION here. He had Fact Or Fable readily held in third when winning at Wolverhampton and while that horse gets a 5lb swing in the weights today that doesn’t look enough to tip the balance and I think he’ll confirm those placings again here. There was little wrong with his second at Kempton and with further improvement on the cards he should prove too good in this moderate event. It’s 8/1 bar the front pair so that shows you the weakness in this race. Dors Toyboy ran well when second to Rockesbury on penultimate start and is probably best of the rest if returning to that sort of form. Hard to go past the fav though on what we’ve seen lately.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT FONTWELL ON THURSDAY!
Fontwell 3.00 Belle De Manech (11/10)
Shaped with encouragement on hurdles debut at Wincanton without landing a blow before quickly leaving that behind to win well at the same venue last month; testing conditions ideal and she looks the one to side with.
With Catterick off the original NB is now our NAP so we have replaced our second best bet which now runs at Fontwell. BELLE DE MANECH has been notably strong in the market and that’s probably because conditions are firmly in her favour here with all this rain falling. She impressed last time and with further improvement on the cards she can follow up here under Rex Dingle. Midnight Ginger did well to win on hurdles debut here in November last year but was found out in a better race than this when pulled up at Newbury last time. She needs to bounce back but could figure. Allavina is probably the bigger danger though as like the selection she is improving too.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. IT WAS BACK TO WINNING WAYS YESTERDAY and our best bets run at Fontwell and Chelmsford on Thursday.
