THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS ON THE AW AGAIN AT SOUTHWELL ON TUESDAY EVENING!
Southwell 5.10 Alpha Theta (5/4)
Promising filly who routed the opposition on debut over C&D very much learning on the job before galloping out strongly to win by a wide margin; sure to improve and could have these well strung out in the closing stages.
The NAP runs at Southwell on Tuesday evening in the shape of ALPHA THETA for Mark Johnston. This filly looked to have a big engine winning on debut over track and trip last month and with improvement to come she should see off this field. She didn’t beat a great deal on debut but it was visually impressive and this doesn’t look too much tougher so I fancy her to make it 2-2. Talkischeap developed into a smart chaser for Alan King but has rather lost his way lately finishing a distant third of four at Sandown before pulling up at Kempton. Tackles this sphere for the first time but more looks to be needed. Diamond Gait should build on that recent fourth at Kempton and may emerge as the danger here.

Exeter 1.15 Lagonda (6/4)
Well supported in a bumper at Ayr on debut in November last year, showing promise amidst greenness; bumped into a nice prospect in Hollymount next start at Carlisle; open to improvement now hurdling and sure to go close.
With Fakenham now abandoned we head to Exeter for our second best bet of the day and LAGONDA looks well placed to make the breakthrough for Tom Lacey and Nico de Boinville. She showed promise in bumpers but this will be much more her bag now jumping obstacles stepping up in trip. She should do better as her stamina is drawn out and the money has been relentless for her this morning. Anthony Honeyball won this last year and both Midnight Callisto and Windswept Girl look the dangers to the selection. The latter is tongue tied now and may well be the one to give the favourite a race. Dangan Des Champs is also interesting with an eye to the future.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Exeter and Southwell on Tuesday.
