THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS NOW CHASING A FIVE-TIMER!
Race 6 Delta Downs 9.11 Miss Sooner Girl (1/1)
Quality Road mare who ran her best race for a while when running on well in the closing stages to finish second here last month; this is a very winnable race so obvious chance if building on that effort.
I just think MISS SOONER GIRL got too far back when second over the extended 7f here last month and stepping back up to a mile with further improvement to come on dirt she looks to have a big chance of getting herself back in the winners enclosure. This is by no means a great race so it won’t take much winning. In terms of a danger then it’s probably Wind Zee. She has actually finished behind Miss Mabelee the last twice so does have to reverse that form but she might get an easy lead her and would be a danger if getting into a rhythm off the front. Hopefully something challenges her early as an honest pace would help set things up for the selection who should pick them up close home.

Race 9 Mahoning Valley 9.30 Waldorf (7/4)
Likeable type who has knocked firmly on the door the last twice; dead heated for second at Mountaineer over this trip last month and again in good form when denied a length over 6f here last time, ahead of Reward The Miracle; big shout.
Dropping back half a furlong in trip WALDORF should be hard to catch here. He has run two big races the last twice and if performing to that level again should have too much all round speed for these. Delayed Engagement has some decent form in the book and should come on for his reappearance run last month. Does need to but might be one of the dangers. Polo Art is best forgiven his run on a synthetic surface last time and was in good form prior to that so also has to be respected. At a double-figure price it wouldn’t surprise me if Unbridled Boiler managed to run into a place. He is better than what we’ve seen recently and looks fair value in the market.
