THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT GULFSTREAM ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 5 Gulfstream 8.10 Dream Friend (5/6)
Useful type who caught the eye beaten just a length on return in stronger company than this; back down to a mile which should suit and likely to take all the catching under positive tactics; the one to beat.
We head to Gulfstream on Thursday night for our best bet Stateside and DREAM FRIEND looks hard to oppose back down to this grade. He has been holding his own and caught the eye when denied just a length on return. I liked the way he stuck to the task once headed and I think he can make all in this company dropping back slightly in trip tonight. Cairo Campaign was behind Ninja Dust last time so has to reverse that form but it was just his fourth start so it wouldn’t surprise me if he stepped forward enough to give the favourite a race here. The latter is also respected as his form ties in albeit he is more exposed. Positive Phil could run well but best hope is probably a place.

Race 9 Oaklawn Park 11.10 Wicked Flashback (13/8)
Progressive filly who is chasing a hat-trick after winning head in chest on penultimate start before following up in a better race than this last time; open to further improvement and looks the one to beat in this field after a brief freshen up.
The hat-trick seeking WICKED FLASHBACK looks hard to beat at Oaklawn on Thursday night. This filly is improving fast and with further progression on the cards she should have too much for these. It is a competitive race but she looks to be getting better and better as she gains experience. She is at her best when she is on the speed so I expect her to push forward and look to dominate. Visual Magic is exposed in comparison but did land back-to-back wins in the summer last year and would be a danger if ready to go on her return. Ms. Malevolence also brings winning form to the table and she’s going the right way so she has to be feared too but the favourite may well have the greatest potential.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gulfstream and Oaklawn Park on Thursday night.
