THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT TAMPA BAY TONIGHT!

Race 5 Tampa Bay 7.13 Lady Jean (4/5)

Promising filly who made a taking start winning on debut by 4 lengths having showed gears; sure to improve on that initial effort dropping back slightly in trip and should push forward and look to make all.

The NAP was back in the winners enclosure Stateside last night as the DD landed too. Hopefully we can back that up tonight as we head to Tampa for our best bet. LADY JEAN made the perfect starting winning on debut over 6f here and if she improves on that, which she should, then she’ll be hard to peg back. She will push forward again and will look to gallop them into submission. Moon Eyes is exposed in comparison but could be one of the dangers. This mare finished a good second over track and trip last time and is respected off the back of that form. True Atka has been contesting better races than this recently so also has to enter calculations. She does have a bit to prove on recent form.

Race 11 Gulfstream 10.16 Mrs. Danvers (13/8)

Exciting filly who improved to get back to winning ways on penultimate start before taking a big step forward to land a Grade 3 at Aqueduct in November; freshened up since and still improving so hard to oppose.

The way MRS. DANVERS won at Aqueduct last time was mightily impressive and given she remains open to further progress now she has to be a leading player here. This is a good race but I can see her winning this before going on to better things in time. She is still lightly raced so there could be a lot more to come. She won by over 6 lengths last time and a similar effort should be enough to take this. Bajan Girl beat Dream Marie but was then held by that filly last time so needs to do better but if at her best she could run well. Eres Tu is chasing a four-timer and might emerge as a bigger danger. Like the selection she almost certainly has more to offer.
