NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED AGAIN YESTERDAY SO WE’RE NOW ON A FIVE-TIMER!
Sedgefield 3.12 Chinwag (6/4)
Likeable type who improved a chunk following a wind op and a tongue strap to scoot clear comfortably at Wincanton; followed up impressively at Taunton; nothing wrong with his third last time and hard to oppose again.
I know CHINWAG failed to land the hat-trick at Taunton last month but that was still a big run in defeat and the winner has hacked up since. He is back up to the trip that saw him win so well on penultimate start and he still looks to have more to offer. He has the best recent form on offer in this field and that’s very much reflected in his position in the market. Sidi Ismael is yet to win over hurdles but has been running well and should be in the mix. A bigger threat may emerge from Sam’s Gunner though who is off a reduced mark now and should be making an impact sooner rather than later. It’s hard to recommend much else in a race lacking any real strength in depth.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT SOUTHWELL ON THURSDAY EVENING!
Southwell 5.30 Passional (7/4)
Progressive filly who wasn’t suited with how it panned out at Lingfield on penultimate start, just getting too far back; much more like it at Chelmsford last time and now won 4 of her last 5; escapes a penalty so big chance again.
The thriving PASSIONAL looks hard to oppose again this evening. Her winning spree started over C&D in December so she’ll have no issue with the surface and it was good to see her back in the winners enclosure at Chelmsford last time. That was an apprentice event so she escapes a penalty and her claims are obvious. She has such a likeable way of going and will be trying her best. Qaaraat has won over this C&D too and looks the most likely danger. He often runs well but I can see the selection improving past him on this occasion. Ustath was only fourth here over 6f last time fading late so should appreciate the drop back to the minimum but does need to find more from somewhere.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Sedgefield and Southwell on Thursday.
