LET’S BOUNCE BACK TONIGHT! Really tough night Stateside last night but we’re hopeful we can bounce back with action from Tampa, Mahoning Valley, Gulfstream and Delta Downs.

NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT GULFSTREAM ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

Race 5 Gulfstream 8.11 Brasstown (6/5)

Useful type who ran out a really impressive winner in a tougher race than this on penultimate start; did too much early last time but not disgraced in third; recent form suggests he is the one they all have to beat.

A night to forget last night Stateside so hopefully we can quickly get back on track this evening. We head to Gulfstream for our best bet and BRASSTOWN is strongly fancied to get back to winning ways. He bolted up over track and trip in December and while he wasn’t seen to best effect last time he is a lot better than that and if he bounces back he should burn these off from the front. He has early gears and can sustain it right through the line over this trip so is definitely the one to beat. Nacho Papa has been running to a consistent level and went down just a head over track and trip on penultimate start. If he puts his best foot forward he will be the main danger to the favourite.

Race 6 Mahoning Valley 8.04 Tio Perico (11/8)

Talented sort who won three in a row last year and has been holding his form well in defeat since; knuckled down bravely for pressure last time and only just failed to get back up with Winchester Limited a spot back in third.

At one point last year TIO PERICO had won 4 from 5 so he certainly knows where the winning post is. He has only been seen twice this term and has run well on both occasions, really taking the eye last time coming back strongly at the death. If he steps forward from that he should beat this bunch and looks a good bet to do so as I expected him to be odds-on. He holds nearest market rival Winchester Limit on that latest run and he’s better than that too. He will push forward and look to make every yard a winning one. Poznan struck on penultimate start but rather let his supporters down last time and will need to better that to pose any sort of a threat here. He’ll have a lot of ground to make up.
