THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT HEREFORD ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!
Hereford 2.45 Aheadfullofdreams (15/8)
Promising sort who appreciated the step up to 3 miles for the first time when winning by a short head at Ayr only to be disqualified; outpaced at Warwick next and back to best last time; always looked a chaser.
The NAP was turned over at a short price yesterday so hopefully we can get back on track this afternoon. We head to Hereford and AHEADFULLOFDREAMS looks to have a big shout on chase debut over a trip that should see him come into his own. He is still unexposed as a stayer and I think he can serve it up to these. He bumped into a nice horse in Poppa Poutine last time and if he improves for a cut at a fence he will go close. Do It For Thy Sen was back on track with the headgear back on last time and looks the one to give him most to think about. To Be Sure fell last time but also has to be respected stepping up markedly in trip. Hard to recommend much else in a race lacking strength in depth.

Market Rasen 3.30 Gunsight Ridge (15/8)
Shaped really well when second to Qualismart over 2 miles here before improving to open his account at Doncaster next time; good second to Gowel Road at Newbury and not disgraced at Kempton; obvious form chance.
I’ll be surprised if there isn’t more to come from GUNSIGHT RIDGE here for Olly Murphy. He continues to run well and has been mixing it with the right horses lately. He was given a lot to do at Kempton last time and did make good headway but the winner was in a different league. Back at this track I think there is good reason to be positive about his chances. He has only actually had four runs over hurdles so there should be more to come yet. Rosie And Millie is a likeable sort and she has had a wind op so has to be feared. She might just set things up for the selection though. Prince Escalus still has potential and it wouldn’t surprise me if he was the one to give the fav most to think about.
