Race 8 Gulfstream 8.48 Missing Link (13/8)
Promising filly who has improved with experience and impressed over track and trip in September winning by a commanding 3 lengths; excuses next start and firmly back on track at this level last time, finding plenty.
The NAP ran a cracker last night so no complaints here but it is frustrating to finish second (again). It shows we’re on the right lines though so the winners are just around the corner. Hopefully tonight as we head to Gulfstream for our best bet Stateside. MISSING LINK has won 2 of her last 3 and looks well placed to follow up tonight. She won by 4 lengths last time and her early speed can get these in trouble. She’s at her best when she’s dictating so this test suits her well. Turn It On will push forward as well but strictly on the clock she has the edge. Very Savvy will be looking to close in late but she was behind the selection last time so has a fair bit of ground to make up.

Race 7 Golden Gate Fields 11.30 Bernalinho (2/1)
Progressive colt who improved again to make the breakthrough over the extended mile here last month; a lot to like about the way he kicked clear in the closing stages and this looks easier if anything so leading claims.
We head to Golden Gate tonight for our NB and 2 of our last 3 have won so we’re in good form. BERNALINHO is attractively priced all things considered. He won pretty much head in chest last time and with the promise of more to come as he gains experience he can come out on top again tonight. There are a couple of interesting types against him but I think he has the greatest potential. Jimmy Blue Jeans had the selection behind when winning last time but he had everything go his way that day and the selection has improved again since. I fancy the pair to battle it out again. Seattle Bold also has to be considered here with the promise of further progress to come.
Evening Double
