THE US NAP (BEST BET) LANDED AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT WILL ROGERS!

Race 5 Will Rogers 8.52 Raintree Starlet (1/1)

Smart mare who won head in chest on debut for new barn over this trip at Oaklawn in February; improved up to this company last time doing well to win having stumbled at the start; hard to oppose in current form.

The US NAP is on a HAT-TRICK on Monday night and we head to Will Rogers where RAINTREE STARLET is chasing three in a row herself. She has looked very good the last twice and if she turns up in the same form here she will take a lot of beating. She impressed on penultimate start and actually clocked a better time latest despite stumbling at the start. She could be improving and even on that last effort she will be hard to run down. Shesomajestic is the danger but she needs to dominate as well and I think the selection might always be holding her. Zanadu won by a head last time and she could pick up the pieces if they go too hard. It’s a big ask though conceding first run.

Race 1 Turf Paradise 9.25 Storm The Palace (13/8)

Promising filly who made a very impressive start powering clear to win on debut over track and trip last month; scope to do better and looks one to keep firmly on the right side of tonight and going forward.

It was hard not to be impressed with the way STORM THE PALACE won on debut. She certainly knew her job pushing the pace and then lengthening in good style in the closing stages. She is only going to improve from that and if she does she will have these all in trouble. Uh Oh Lucy was disappointing last time but her previous form wasn’t bad and she’d be one of the dangers if she bounces back. She’s Smart Enough has been running in better company than this so will find it easier but she needs to get back to her best to have a chance. Sharp Move is also worth considering but again she will need to improve to trouble the fav who looks the most progressive.
