THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT DELTA DOWNS ON THURSDAY NIGHT!

Smart filly who had been running well before winning impressively over track and trip last month; this a better race but she will be hard to beat if running up to that sort of level again; one to keep on side.

We head to Delta Downs tonight for our best bet Stateside and ITSNOTMYJOB looks to have a big shout of following up. She won impressively last time and while this is tougher she should secure the lead based on the fractions she set last time and I don’t think she’ll be caught. D’wild Baroness landed back-to-back wins before finishing third last time. She needs more on that but if she bounces back to her best she should pose some sort of a threat. Four Princesses will be a danger if they go too hard early but I did expect him to get closer last time. Track Smart is lightly raced and might be the value play to run on into a place. She showed a good attitude last time and has to be respected off the back of that.

Race 4 Oaklawn Park 8.33 Reason To Soar (7/4)

Likeable type who has won 4 of his last 5 and showed a good attitude to get to the front and maintain the gallop over track and trip at the start of the month; hard to oppose if he runs to that sort of level again.

With 5 wins from his last 7 REASON TO SOAR is hard to pick holes in. He certainly knows where the winning line is and that was a good effort to win last time. This doesn’t look a great deal harder to me and I much prefer him to main market rival P R Radio Star. The latter has been well held recently and while his earlier form reads well he’s bumping into a horse in great form right now so faces an uphill task likely conceding first run too. Hidden Ruler was pulled up last time so has enough to prove off the back of that but again his previous form reads well so he is respected. Ace Destroyer needs to up his game but the feeling is he could have more to come being one of the younger horses in here.
