Saturday’s Best Bets
NAP HAT-TRICK! Armory landed us our fourth winning NAP from our last five. Tons of racing on Saturday with no less than 9 meetings to get stuck into. Daily Double pays 4/1!

NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND IS NOW CHASING A FOUR-TIMER!
Warwick 5.12 Erne River (11/10)
Promising sort who didn’t shape badly when third on debut under Rules at Kelso; improved back from a break to win impressively at Doncaster last time; more to come now and looks well placed to follow up.
The NAP landed again yesterday bringing up a hat-trick of winners. That also means we’ve had 4 from our last 5 so couldn’t really be in better form heading into the weekend. It’s a bit of a wait for our best bet on Saturday as we head over Jumps at Warwick. ERNE RIVER really impressed at Doncaster and given he is open to further improvement he can make it 2 from 3 over hurdles. He sets a decent standard and it’s going to take a good one to stop him. Opening Bid got off the mark at the third attempt at Newton Abbot last month and like the selection he is going the right way so he looks the one to give him most to think about. Deeper Blue is best of the rest but will need to be fairly smart to win this.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) ALSO LANDED YESTERDAY! RUNS AT NAAS TODAY!
Naas 2.05 Kirsapp (11/8)
Dawn Approach colt who is bred to be useful and certainly showed promise finishing third on debut at the Curragh 3 weeks ago, not knocked about; front pair look nice types and second won since; good chance to open his account.
We head over to Ireland for our NB on Saturday as we look to follow up yesterday’s winner. KIRSAPP caught the eye on debut finishing third under a tentative ride. Once his chance was gone Colin Keane was very easy on him and he struck me as a colt that would take a big step forward from that and with the form having been well advertised since and the winner potentially off to Royal Ascot he should take a lot of beating here. Pimlico is an expensive colt by No Nay Never who is from a top yard so obviously has to be feared. He is going to need to know his job to beat the selection though and I’m happy to chance that. Freedom Of Speech can do better as well but might just be bumping into one.
