THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT GULFSTREAM ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Gulfstream 7.49 Don’t Get Khozy (11/10)
Likeable filly who doesn’t know how to run a bad race; won twice over track and trip over the winter and two big runs in defeat since, bumping into a good horse last time; hard to oppose in current form.
The US NAP is on a tough run at the moment so hopefully we can get back to winning ways tonight. We head to Gulfstream and DON’T GET KHOZY can get back to winning ways. This filly has the strongest form coming into this and I fancy her experience to count for plenty against Champagne Salute. The latter obviously improved to win well last time but this looks tougher again and she has only had 2 starts so will lack that race-craft for me. The fav has some strong form in the book and she will be doing her best in the closing stages which I fancy to be good enough. Heiressindy was behind the selection last time and has her work cutout to try and close that gap.

Race 7 Santa Anita 12.19 Tapwater (13/8)
Smart mare who showed a great attitude under pressure to score on return over a mile here having stalked them throughout; ran a cracker in a Grade 2 last time and looks to be improving all the time; big chance.
Looking forward to seeing TAPWATER at Santa Anita on Saturday night. This mare has progressive form to her name and was only beaten just over 3 lengths in Grade 2 company last time. This is a Grade 3 so she is eased slightly in grade and with the promise of more to come she should make it 2 wins from her last 3 here. I’m expecting her to be strong in the betting so the 13/8 may well be worth taking. Rideforthecause wasn’t at her best of return but she is better than that and if she comes on for it she could be one of the dangers. Star Of Africa has won her last two on turf and while this is a big step up she has to be respected and might be worth a saver to run into a place late at a price.
