Navan 4.40 Adelisa (15/8)
Promising filly who shaped encouragingly on debut when beaten two lengths at Dundalk and improved chasing home a nice filly at Gowran last time; more to come so should prove hard to beat here if she steps forward again.
Let’s get the NAP back firing today! We head over to Ireland where ADELISA is looking to get off the mark. She has shaped well on both starts to date and bumped into Create Belief at Gowran last time. That filly has since won a strong looking handicap at the Curragh so the form certainly has some substance. With further improvement on the cards I think she’s going to take a lot of beating. Sunniyra is the closest in the betting and she has to be respected but she was only sixth to Annerville last time and needs more on what we saw there. Alice Kitty was beaten just a length into second last time and while that form doesn’t look overly strong she also has to enter calculations.

Kelso 3.42 Lissen To The Lady (3/1)
Useful mare who has won 2 of her last 3 and impressed here last time staying on well to win comfortably; back up in trip now which will suit given how she hit the line last time; one to keep on side as should have more to offer.
Given LISSEN TO THE LADY is still quite lightly raced for her age she could have further improvement to come and with the step back up in trip looking a good move I think she can make it 3 wins from her last 4 here. This is quite competitive which is why we’re getting 3/1 about the selection but if she runs to the level that saw her win by 4 and a quarter lengths last time she is going to go very close. Dequall was only fifth at Perth last time but the stop start gallop didn’t suit and he’ll probably be seen to better effect here. Wouldn’t surprise me if he emerged as the main danger to the selection. Lulu Baloo improved to win at Newcastle and also has to be respected.
