THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT INDIANA GRAND ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

Race 2 Indiana Grand 7.56 Rock N June Bug (13/8)

Progressive sort who brought up the hat-trick in good style over the extended 5f here last month; clearly getting better with experience and back up to 6f will suit if anything; obvious chance of making it four in a row.

We head to Indiana Grand on Wednesday night for our best bet Stateside and ROCK N JUNE BUG can win again. He really picked up well for pressure last time and this slightly longer trip can play to his strengths. He is open to further improvement yet and looks the one they all have to beat as he bids to land a four-timer. Stop Hammertime has finished second the last twice but was beaten 6 lengths last time albeit by a promising horse in Chipofftheoldblock. If he runs to that sort of level again he should finish second to the selection. Flatoutjustice impressed over a mile last time but this is a different test in a slightly tougher race so he is going to need to find more to trouble the selection.

Race 10 Philadelphia 9.58 Always A Queen (7/4)

Improving filly who was back to winning ways on penultimate start and didn’t do much wrong when beaten just a length at this level last month; more to come yet so if she steps forward again she should have a great chance here.

I’m expecting ALWAYS A QUEEN to be tough to beat at Phily tonight. She is still on the upgrade and a slow start didn’t help her last time but she did gallop on strongly to the line and was only actually beaten a length at the line. With more to come and hopefully an even start she can go close. Gambit’s Girl finished a place in front of the selection last time and looks the most likely danger as she has been running well. Lean On E is fairly unexposed and has won 2 of his last 3 so she has to enter calculations as well but I think the selection has greater potential. Jumpintoaction needs to up her game to land a blow here but it is still relatively early days with her as well so worth considering.
