THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT BELMONT PARK ON FRIDAY NIGHT!

Race 8 Belmont Park 9.40 Chub Wagon (11/8)

Unbeaten filly who continues to go from strength to strength and impressed again last time always finding enough to prevail; perfect 6-6 now and while this is another step up she is clearly a highly promising racehorse.

We’ve been with CHUB WAGON every step of the way and I’m not about to abandon her now. This is her toughest assignment to date but she is just getting better with every run. I thought she put in a professional display to emerge on top last time and with further improvement on the cards she can take this next step up in her stride before possibly going on to have a crack at a Grade 2 and even Grade 1 in time. She is the most likely winner for me and might even appreciate a stronger pace here before getting on top in the closing stages. Her run over 7f was arguably her most impressive so stepping back up in trip is a positive if anything. Lake Avenue looks the one to chase her home.

Race 7 Arlington 11.31 Daddy’s Boo (11/8)

Useful mare who has plenty of solid form to her name and looks to be coming to the boil again after two very good efforts in defeat the last twice; only denied a length last time and a similar run will see her back in the winners enclosure.

We head to Arlington late on Friday for our second best bet Stateside and DADDY’S BOO can go one better. She ran a cracker back from a 546 day absence when denied just half a length over track and trip and built on that when second last time too. A similar run may well suffice tonight and she is the one I want to side with. Fate Factor was a place behind the selection last time and looks the one to chase her home again. At a bigger price Mary Of Bethany is lightly raced and got her head in front last time. If she can step forward again she might be value to run on late into a place but it’s hard to see her getting the better of the market principals as she hasn’t achieved anywhere near as much.
