THE NAP (BEST BET) WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT LINGFIELD ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Lingfield 7.15 Maxine (7/4)
Promising filly who really impressed winning by 9 lengths head in chest at Bath on return; improved again to take the field apart at Pontefract; up 12lb so this demands more but must have a big engine and can complete the hat-trick.
The NAP was back to winning ways yesterday as Kingmania won again. Hopefully we can fire in another winner tonight as we head to Lingfield. MAXINE has put in some freakish performances of late and I was really impressed with how rattled clear at Bath despite having pulled hard early. She ended up winning by 9 lengths and while the form doesn’t amount to much she quickly backed that up with another monstrous performance at Pontefract last time. A couple of furlongs out it looked race on as Myristica came there quite strongly but in the blink of an eye she had scampered clear up the centre of the track and that was that. A 12lb rise demands more but I think she’s up to the task.

Epsom 2.00 King Frankel (9/4)
Tough and consistent colt who looked to need the run on return when second at Pontefract but quickly improved to hack up next start before bumping into an improver last time; 6lb rise but should win if running his race.
I think Bay Bridge is a very smart colt in the making for Sir Michael Stoute so finishing second to him might not have been a bad run. With more to come KING FRANKEL can get back in the winners enclosure. He was making his handicap debut the last day and despite a 6lb rise he looks to have crystal clear claims to me. Patient Dream has been punted but a couple of Ralph Beckett’s were heavily backed yesterday and proved bitterly disappointing so I wouldn’t take too much notice of that. The latter won well at this track latest but this is tougher and he needs to find plenty to trouble the selection in my book. Greatgadian will be a bigger danger if learning to settle as he should have more to come.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Epsom and Lingfield on Saturday as we look to follow up yesterday’s winner!
