Race 8 Indiana Grand 11.02 Nobody Listens (6/5)

Improving fast and made it back-to-back wins dropped back to the minimum on a sloppy track here at the start of the month; more to come up in trip and early speed should get a lot of these off the bridle; hat-trick beckons.

I’m sticking with the progressive NOBODY LISTENS tonight as we look to follow up yesterday’s NAP win. This 3yo has only had 4 starts winning 2 of them and with the promise of more to come now stepping up in trip he can complete the hat-trick. I know this is tougher so he’ll need to improve but he has bright early speed and if things go his way out the gate he might always be dominating. I was really impressed with him last time as he had to come wide to get on the speed but was quick into stride and set a good gallop throughout before drawing off. Stepping up in trip tonight there could be lots more to come yet. Sky Judge impressed on penultimate start and looks the obvious danger.

Race 7 Belterra Park 8.29 Sweet Evy Grace (5/4)

Likeable mare who returned from 232 days off the track with a convincing win over 6f here last month; previous form stacks up and this extra half furlong will suit so she has plenty going for her as she bids to follow up.

Last time out winner SWEET EVY GRACE looks well placed to go in again. She has always shown plenty of promise so it was good to see her back to her best on return with a useful looking win. She should come on plenty fitness-wise from that and judging by the hat-trick she reeled off a couple of years ago I see no reason why she can’t repeat that sort of run of form. Quite a few of these like to close from deep so it will be interesting to see where she positions herself. I don’t expect her to be too far off the speed and with a bit of luck she’ll be in the box seat to pounce where it matters. Edge Of Pleasure holds a couple of these on her win here last month so looks the biggest threat to the selection.
