NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT YARMOUTH ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!
Yarmouth 4.15 Boltaway (1/1)
Dubawi colt who has improved since going handicapping winning at Doncaster on first crack at 1m2f last month before following up in gutsy fashion at Redcar last time; more to come as his stamina is drawn out; hard to oppose.
I know BOLTAWAY only prevailed by a short head at Redcar last time but I think he was value for more than the winning margin and with further improvement to come up to this trip for the first time he can complete the hat-trick. He is up just 4lb from that last win so is 10lb higher than when he started handicapping so to reel off three wins would be a good bit of training from Roger Charlton. There is potential for Goldie Hawk, Dontaskmeagain and Squelch to get racing too early so this could set up perfectly for the selection. Goldie Hawk made the most of a good opportunity at Windsor last time and she is a likeable filly but she’ll need more to beat this favourite who has greater potential.

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT KEMPTON ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Kempton 6.45 Keeper (11/10)
Frankel colt who ran an eye-catching race when second on handicap debut with the front pair clear; improving to win head in chest at Brighton last time; 8lb higher but going the right way and should be winning this.
The progressive KEEPER can go in again here. He has been due to run the last two days before being scratched so hopefully he takes up his engagement tonight. He won in the style of a real improver last time and while he’ll need to take another step forward up 8lb this looks a good chance and I’m keen to keep him on side. Thomas Cochrane is lightly raced with his one win coming over this C&D. He hasn’t been seen to best effect the last twice but I expect him to run better here. Rafiot hasn’t been running badly lately and was only beaten narrowly into fourth at Goodwood last time. I think he’s capable of running a big race so he looks good value to hit the frame and might be worth a saver.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Yarmouth and Kempton on Wednesday.
