THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT NEWMARKET ON FRIDAY EVENING!
Newmarket 6.52 Wishaah (5/4)
Created a big impression winning on debut at Kempton and probably a combination of inexperience and the fact he might just have bumped into one when second at Newcastle last time; can do better and looks hard to oppose.
The NAP is on a tough run at the moment but I’m convinced WISHAAH is the one to beat here. This son of Oasis Dream won going away on debut and then came nearly 5 lengths clear from the rest when beaten narrowly into second at Newcastle last time. He is open to any amount of improvement as did still look raw last time and I fully expect him to take care of these. Sibaaq has experience on side but you’d have to say he is vulnerable to an improver and the fav certainly fits the bill. Royal Air Force is unexposed and wasn’t disgraced in the Craven so it wouldn’t surprise me if he was the danger. Longlai was out his depth in the Britannia but will find this easier so might be a bit overpriced.

Ascot 3.00 Indigo Girl (6/4)
Dubawi filly who is certainly bred to be smart and won her first two in good style including the May Hill at Doncaster; excellent second in the Fillies’ Mile 9 months ago and could be one to follow on her belated return.
The NB was back in the winners enclosure yesterday and we head to Ascot on Friday in search of a double. INDIGO GIRL made an impressive start winning on debut and the form of that race has worked out notably well since. She quickly improved to win the May Hill at Doncaster, again a race that has produced winners since. There was nothing wrong with her second to Pretty Gorgeous in the bet365 Fillies’ Mile and with the promise of more to come as a 3yo she should make a winning return here. Lights On was very impressive at Pontefract last time winning by 10 lengths but she is up against a different kettle of fish here so will need more to follow up. This could come soon enough as well.
Daily Double
