THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT THISTLEDOWN ON THURSDAY NIGHT!

Race 8 Thistledown 9.20 Mucho Prospect (6/5)

Tough sort who has won 3 of his last 4 and showed a great attitude to prevail by a head over track and trip last month; form stacks up and this no harder so obvious chance of visiting the winners enclosure again tonight.

Let’s get the US NAP back firing tonight! We head to Thistledown and MUCHO PROSPECT should have these covered. He was carried wide last time but showed a great attitude to edge ahead where it mattered and win again. His win before that was impressive and his form stacks up so I think he’ll take a lot of beating again tonight. It will be interesting to see who goes forward as there isn’t a huge amount of pace on and he has pushed forward in the past and dominated so that certainly is an option here. Gold Shark got the closest out of these to the selection when third last time and while I’m struggling to see him reverse that he may end up finishing second. Nano also has to enter calculations.

Race 6 Woodbine 8.42 Ozaya (11/8)

Good looking filly who needed a bit of encouragement to get into stride and was caught wide but really quickened up well around the field and hit the front in a matter of strides; only pegged back on the line by a promising horse.

There was a lot to like about the debut run of OZAYA and with usual improvement she is going to take a lot of beating tonight. She circled the field in the style of an exciting filly and while she was grabbed on the line the winner Scatter The Clouds looks a nice horse so the form is solid as the pair came clear. She is sure to know more this time and if she gets away on terms she won’t need to use as much energy to make up the placings. She obviously has to transfer that form from turf to a synthetic surface but it might end up suiting her better if anything. Big Ginger might emerge as the main danger but certainly don’t write off Amalfi Sky either who is a big price and might be worth a small saver.
