Worcester 6.05 Elios D’Or (11/8)
Improved a chunk to win impressively over C&D last month and backed that up in good style again over track and trip last time; 7lb rise looks manageable and expected to take the beating again if in the same form.
It’s hard to look past ELIOS D’OR here for Robert Walford. He has looked very good the last twice and a C&D hat-trick very much looks on the cards. Storm Rising is probably going to push forward and that might help the selection settle as he can be keen sometimes. Cobden gets the leg up again and that’s another positive. Atlantic Storm ran well when third off this mark at Uttoxeter and while he isn’t well treated I think he might emerge as the danger to the favourite. Siannes Star landed back to back wins at Southwell but came up short at Uttoxeter and needs to jump better to have a say here especially against this thriving favourite. Carolines Charm has the talent but was pulled up last time.

Glorious Goodwood 2.25 Berkshire Shadow (9/4)
Dark Angel colt who overcame inexperience to make a winning debut at Newbury and improved again to win the Coventry at Royal Ascot last time; up in trip and can improve again so big chance to make it 3-3.
This years Vintage Stakes doesn’t look as deep as some renewals but the top 3 in the market look to have it between them on all known form. BERKSHIRE SHADOW edges it for us after his very good win in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. That was only his second run and he looked a classy horse making it 2 out of 2. If in the same form on this softer ground he is the one to beat as he is likely to step forward again. The main danger is Lusail who won the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket last time out and will handle the softer ground I just think the selection has a higher ceiling as Lusail has run 4 times already. Eldrickjones is likely to run well without quite being good enough.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Goodwood and Worcester on Tuesday.
