Nottingham 7.50 Jewel In My Crown (2/1)
Improving filly who landed back-to-back wins at Brighton and over C&D before bumping into a good one at Leicester last time; open to further progress and looks the most likely winner in this field; obvious chance.
The NAP simply wasn’t good enough yesterday despite the strong support just before the off. We’re working hard to try and get this back on track and we head to Nottingham on Tuesday night. JEWEL IN MY CROWN is clearly on an upward trajectory and that was a big run in defeat last time behind Portfolio. That filly had it all her own way that day and has backed it up with a huge effort in defeat beaten less than a length in a Listed race at Newmarket on Saturday. Given she is proven over this C&D and has more to come it’s no surprise to see her favourite here. Loving Dash hung under pressure last time which is a bit worrying. I think Mashkoorah could be the danger is taking another step forward.

Lingfield 7.00 Smooth Spirit (5/2)
Left reappearance run well behind going down just half a length at Wolverhampton last month; won’t need to improve much on that to go one better here and cheekpieces go back on which should help; big chance.
We head to Lingfield on Tuesday night for our second best bet of the day and SMOOTH SPIRIT can get himself back in the winners enclosure. He was only edged out narrowly back down to this trip last time and won’t need much more to go one better. I think it’s between him and Gosnay Gold. The latter did well to get as close as he did at Epsom last time given he raced wide and like the selection he should have more to come so with further improvement will run a good race. George Scott has a first-time visor but has enough to prove on recent evidence. Taunton was second at Leicester when last seen and is probably best of the rest but the market principals look too hot to handle.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Lingfield and Nottingham on Tuesday night.
