Best bets Stateside on Wednesday night
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered SEVEN meetings again and picked out our best bets.
PLENTY MORE RACING COMING UP STATESIDE! Action on Wednesday night from Belterra Park, Thistledown, Philadelphia, Saratoga, Finger Lakes, Delaware Park and Indiana Grand.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT THISTLEDOWN ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 7 Thistledown 8.50 Statesboro (11/8)
Broke sharply and didn’t see another rival winning head in chest over track and trip when last seen bringing up the hat-trick; won 6 of his last 7 now and couldn’t be in better form; up in grade but hard to oppose.
Let’s get the US NAP back firing tonight! I like the chances of STATESBORO at Thistledown. I know this is tougher than what he’s been contesting so far this campaign but his record speaks for itself and he arrives here at the top of his game having won his last three. If he can push forward and dictate I don’t think he’ll be caught here. Strike Appeal himself won back-to-back races before running well in defeat when second last time. He should give the favourite something to think about. Fat Daddy is also worth a second look at a price as he has been performing to a decent level and could be the value to run into a place behind the selection.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT SARATOGA TONIGHT!
Race 8 Saratoga 10.05 Aunt Kat (6/4)
Exciting filly who brought up the hat-trick eased down at the finish over a mile at Belmont last time; back down to 7f which suits her aggressive style and should have too much for them; the one to beat.
I’m expecting AUNT KAT to make it four straight at Saratoga tonight. She is a filly going places judging by her latest efforts and if she improves again she should have too much for these. I know this is her toughest test to date but she is certainly trending the right way. Bayerness was only denied a neck last time and she is the obvious danger to the favourite. She might not have the pace to lay up with the selection but will probably be doing her best work late. This trip is on the sharp side against a filly with as much potential as Aunt Kat though. Casual has been consistent in recent times and could also run a good race but perhaps without being good enough.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Thistledown and Saratoga on Wednesday night.
