THE NAP (BEST BET) ON THURSDAY RUNS AT LEOPARDSTOWN

Leopardstown 6:30 Create Belief (1/1)

Thursday nights NAP was one of the best winners at Royal Ascot and we think she is going to keep on improving. CREATE BELIEF won the Sandringham by over 5 lengths which made it 3 wins from 4 runs. She looks at her best at a mile and is well worth her place in this Group 3. The way she is running I think she could race at a higher level (entered in Group 1s) in the future but Johnny Murtagh has targeted this race which looks perfect for her progression and she will take all the beating again.

It isn’t the best race but last time out winner Real Appeal steps up to mile this time and is the likely danger if improving at this trip. He does have scope for it but gives the rest of the field weight which might not see him land back-to-back Group 3s.

Leopardstown 7:00 Interpretation (5/4)

Just half an hour after the NAP runs at Leopardstown INTERPRETATION will hopefully be running to land the daily double. He has only run 3 times with two very nice wins on his last two runs. He looks as though this trip will bring out even more improvement and he looks to be the one to beat in an average field.

Fernando Vichi is the highest rated in the field but the selection has more scope for improvement. If Interpretation improves as expected he will have his number and the main danger could prove to be Port Sunlight who goes well at staying trips and if the first time headgear has the desired effect he could go well again here.
