THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT YORK ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!
York 3.00 Space Blues (11/8)
Smart horse who won four on the bounce last season most notably the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville; ran well in the Lennox back from 4 months off the track; sharper now and hard to oppose against this field.
Safe Voyage returns to try and win back-to-back renewals of this race but he does face a tougher task with SPACE BLUES lining up and just hasn’t been as good this year. The latter has been lightly raced this campaign and he should be at his very best after a run in the Lennox Stakes to get him to peak fitness. He cruised into the race that day from last position and lost out by just over half a length. He may have had too much to do or just wasn’t fully fit for the race. I fully expect him to be back to his best in this and go on to more Group 1 success later in the season. Sir Busker would have his chance boosted if getting a fast pace to aim at so I’ll put him forward as the threat to the selection.

Sandown 3.45 Silent Escape (13/8)
New Approach filly who made a bright start winning on debut at Wolverhampton and improved to beat a good horse at Newcastle on return; bit unlucky to go down just a neck at Leicester last month and more to come yet.
This looks a good chance for SILENT ESCAPE to get a win on turf. She won her first two starts on the AW and went down narrowly last time with the front pair nicely clear. She is up 5lb but is improving and should have too much for these. Lalania won 4 times last year including over this C&D and was back in the winners enclosure at Newmarket last month but up a further 3lb this will be tough off a career-high mark against a progressive 4yo in Silent Escape. Dark Angel colt Ibiza Rocks ran well when third at Kempton but is going to need more now handicapping against some useful looking types. Ripp Orf is back after a 686-day absence off an attractive mark but might need the run.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at York and Sandown on Saturday afternoon.
