NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT NEWTON ABBOT ON TUESDAY EVENING!

Newton Abbot 5.30 Chez Hans (11/8)

Progressive hurdler who made it 5 in a row justifying cramped odds over C&D last time; not done improving yet and looks a danger to all if he can step forward again here; likely type who looks worth keeping on side.

Sticking with the winning machine that is CHEZ HANS at Newton Abbot on Tuesday. He has gone from strength to strength and the handicapper hasn’t caught up with him yet. He landed the odds in a novice hurdle over C&D last time and while this is obviously tougher back in a handicap he has more to come yet and still appeals as the most likely winner. 7lb claimer Ben Bromley has developed a really good partnership with him winning his last 5 and I see no reason to oppose him again here. Solstalla looks the danger as she has been in great form this summer bringing up the hat-trick at Worcester last month. Held in second last time though and bumping into a progressive sort.

NAP

Newton Abbot 5.30 Chez Hans (11/8)

Hexham 6.45 Sea Prince (11/8)

Promising sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and ran out a convincing enough winner at Cartmel last time; 3lb rise doesn’t look enough to stop him going in again and well placed to take advantage; hard to oppose.

Enough of these have something or other to prove to make SEA PRINCE a strong selection. He won over C&D in October last year and was back in the winners enclosure at Cartmel in June. A 3lb rise shouldn’t be enough to anchor him and he looks the one they all have to beat. Miss M wasn’t entirely disgraced at Fontwell but did weaken late and could be the danger back in trip. Go Fox gas enough to find on form but should run better than he did on the Flat 12 days ago anyway. Just Call Me Al is back over hurdles following a wind op and might be the value to run into a place. Lord Caprio has at least won over this C&D but he needs to show more to be of interest.
