Kempton 5.45
Park Street almost certainly has a bright future but so does NOTEBOOK following that really promising debut run when second at Leicester. The winner Rawyaan had experience on side and has now won 2 of his 3 starts so looks a nice colt. The selection was held up but made good headway as the penny dropped and ran on really strongly at the finish to be denied just a short head at the line. The front 3 came nicely clear from the rest and with usual improvement the selection is sure to go close here.
I fancy those with experience to dominate this but debutant Maplewood has to be respected given he cost 320,000 guineas. He is certainly bred to be smart but might need this first outing especially against a couple of promising types.
Kempton 6.15
This handicap isn’t easy to call with plenty of these having the potential to take big leaps forward with every run but I am going to have an interest in RAISE THE ROOF who won two novice events nicely before going into handicaps. The run at Lingfield last time was in a better race than this and dropping to this level she should have a solid chance. She looks versatile regarding trip and I think she goes well at a nice price here.
There are plenty of dangers including Spirit Of The Bay who is on a hat-trick here and even off 6lb higher she could go well once again. Of the rest Kingman filly Camerata looks interesting on handicap debut off a mark of 75 with plenty to come over this trip.
Kempton 6.45
Altraif is a strong favourite at the time of writing but I thought AL JADDAF was much better value against. This Shamardal colt certainly wasn’t disgraced in third on debut behind Tylos and he clocked a fairly decent time in the process so with improvement forthcoming he can serve it up to the market leader. He holds an entry in the Royal Lodge at Newmarket at the end of the month so they must think a fair bit of him to have done that.
Altraif is the danger but he has already had 3 chances and was turned over at short odds again last month and is becoming expensive to follow. Shalaa colt Dream By Day is best of the rest making his debut for John and Thady Gosden.
Kempton 7.15
Based on JUMBLY‘s debut run this could be a very onesided affair and I am not surprised she is odds-on at the time of writing. Her run over 6 furlongs on debut at Leicester was impressive as she won the race like a good horse and there is likely plenty more to come. She has the penalty to contend with here but Saffie Osbourne takes off 5lb and she will take all the beating.
Brazilian Beach is the main danger but hasn’t really been that consistent in her 3 runs. She would need to run to the level of her Goodwood second to challenge the selection which isn’t guaranteed based on her last run. Siamsa came fourth on debut but the time of the race is pretty good so she has potential to take a hand at this level but the selection may just be too good for her on this occasion.
Kempton 7.45
Saatty has been really well backed here but he failed to back up that Chelmsford win at Epsom last time and I wouldn’t be keen taking a short price about him to get back on track. I think G’DAAY looks a good bet to win a race like this. He is gradually improving and caught the eye going close at Yarmouth in July. He improved again to finish first past the post last time and while he was subsequently demoted following a stewards he is certainly going the right way now and compensation could await here.
Saatty is still a danger if he can return to that Chelmsford form and he might go better on the AW so is respected. Lockdown Latchico has won over this C&D and he wasn’t beaten far at Wolverhampton so might be a bit overpriced.
Kempton 8.15
Not the deepest race here and MAFIA POWER can take advantage of this weak race to get his head in front. He has gone close on his last couple of runs at this distance and gets Thore Hammer Hansen’s 3lb claim which could make the difference. He has the most consistent form in the field and I would be surprised if he wasn’t involved in the finish.
Murhib is interesting back down in trip and could be a danger based on his form over middle distances. I am surprised he is such a big price in a race this weak and he could run a big race behind the selection. Out Of Reason is fav at the time of writing after he went close at Wolverhampton when last seen. This is actually a better race than that so he will need to find a bit to win this.
Kempton 8.45
With 2 wins from his last 3 this looks a good opportunity for GEREMIA to go in again. He produced a career best to beat subsequent winner The Vegas Raider by a nose at Chelmsford last time and with the promise of more to come going up in trip I think he can come out on top again. I know he’ll need to improve to win this but the extra yardage should help him progress and he has likeable claims.
Byron Hill has won twice from just five runs this term and is just 2lb higher so looks the obvious danger to the favourite. Bar them two Gentleman At Arms also brings winning form to the table having always looked to be holding on at Nottingham but this does look tougher.
Kempton Win Trixie
