THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT GOLDEN GATE TONIGHT!
Race 9 Golden Gate Fields 1.43 War Games (5/4)
Promising type who kicked clear to run out an impressive winner over track and trip on penultimate start; bumped into a decent yardstick last time but nicely clear from the rest; open to further improvement so big chance here.
Despite drifting in the betting the US NAP landed last night. Hopefully we can land a quick-fire double as we head to Golden Gate on Saturday night. WAR GAMES has already struck twice this season and there wasn’t much wrong with his run last time. Under likely positive tactics again he should take all the catching back up to 6f. R M C Hook’em was a place behind the selection last time and he has been held by him in the past too so hard to see him reversing that form as the selection also looks open to greater improvement given he remains unexposed. Irrefutable was also behind War Games last time but had won his two previous to that so could also have some sort of a say in the finish.

Race 11 Gulfstream 10.56 Sound Machine (11/8)
Improving filly who impressed winning here on penultimate start; far from disgraced up to Grade 2 company when third over C&D last time; returns to calmer waters now and she looks hard to oppose with the promise of more to come.
This looks a great chance for the classy SOUND MACHINE to get back on track. She ran a cracker in Grade 2 company last time and won convincingly at this level prior to that. She looks by far and away the most likely winner in this field and she gets a confident vote to come out on top. Sonar did finish in front of the selection when second back in April but that filly was thrashed 9 lengths at this level last time so she looks to have gone off the boil slightly. If she bounces back she is one of the dangers. Thisismytime still has potential but was a long way behind the fav albeit on seasonal reappearance. Shaped a bit better last time but did fade late. If she can build on that again she might have a say.

The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gulfstream and Golden Gate on Saturday night.
