THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER IN IRELAND AT TIPPERARY ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON!
Tipperary 1.30 Saldier (1/1)
High-class hurdler who clocked a career best to win the Galway Hurdle convincingly off top-weight when last seen in July; if he runs to that level again here then he should have too much for these; looks the one they all have to beat.
It was great to see SALDIER win the Galway Hurdle in the summer and with that confidence-boosting win under his belt he can follow up here. He gets 7lb off Jason The Militant and is easily the pick at the weights. He might not have reached the heights they had initially for him given he was touted as a Champion Hurdler at one stage but it’s good to see him thriving again now and if he is in the same form he will win this and win it comfortably. Jason The Militant is a tough and honest sort so I do still expect him to be the danger despite giving weight away all round. Felix Desjy is also plenty talented and has gone well fresh but you’d think he is going to need a big run to trouble them.

Uttoxeter 4.00 Milkwood (6/4)
Progressed into a smart 2 mile hurdler last season and returned with a serious run beaten just 2 lengths by Saldier in the Galway Hurdle in July; could relish this switch to chasing now and looks hard to oppose in this race.
I can see MILKWOOD making into a smart chaser given what he achieved over hurdles. He certainly has the scope to jump a fence and I think this looks a good starting point. Obviously Faivoir is a big danger having won 5 times over timber last season. He has had a wind op since last seen and should also make into a decent chaser. The pair look clear from the rest and I’m keen to keep the selection on side as I think he could be even better over these larger obstacles. Annual Invictus landed a hat-trick over hurdles last season before a very good fourth at Newbury in February. He was a point winner so should make up into a chaser as well and looks best of the rest. Might be quite a good race.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Tipperary and Uttoxeter on Sunday afternoon.
