THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN THE BET365 FILLIES’ MILE AT NEWMARKET ON FRIDAY!
Newmarket 3.35 Inspiral (4/5)
Frankel filly who is a perfect 3-3 and has created a big impression so far winning the May Hill at Doncaster convincingly last month; potentially very smart and should keep improving so looks a good bet to take care of these.
Some superb racing from Newmarket over the next couple of days and we’re lucky enough to be in attendance on Saturday. I can’t wait to see INSPIRAL in the bet365 Fillies’ Mile on Friday and I think she can remain unbeaten. She is bidding to make it 4 from 4 and judging by the way she settled it when asked in the May Hill they haven’t reached the bottom of her yet. She is clearly very talented and has potential to go right to the top. Ballydoyle have a great record in this race and usually I would have ruled Concert Hall out of this but she could be dangerous after her last run as that looks a like a solid piece of form. She has had plenty of runs compared to the selection so would need to improve.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS OVER AT YORK ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON!
York 4.55 Damaar (5/4)
Promising colt who made a really bright start winning at the first time of asking at Sandown last month, going away at the finish; only going to improve from that and this longer trip should also help; hard to oppose.
Despite making his debut over a trip probably sharper than ideal DAMAAR still really impressed winning at Sandown. The stiff finish played to his strengths and he was doing all his best work at the finish to win going away. He is sure to improve and while it can be tough carrying a penalty I think he could have the class to do it and nothing massively jumps out from the opposition. New Approach colt King’s Crusader ran a promising race first-up when third at Redcar but this is tougher so he is going to need a sizeable step forward to trouble the selection. Golden Horn filly Luna Dorada is the most interesting of the debutants but is probably going to do better for the run. Market can reveal more.
