THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT WOODBINE ON FRIDAY NIGHT!

Race 7 Woodbine 12.53 Ironstone (4/5)

Promising colt who thrashed the opposition over a furlong further here when last seen in August; looks firmly on the upgrade judging by that performance and doesn’t lack speed so drop back in trip fine; one to keep firmly on side.

I know we’re not getting much of a price about IRONSTONE but the way he won last time was so impressive and even at a shade of odds-on he looks good value to go in again. He can win this before going on to better things in time. If he is too short to back as a single then chuck him in your doubles/trebles/accas as for me he is ‘banker material’. Bossy Holiday won his only start on this surface and wasn’t disgraced on turf last time. Could be the main danger to the fav but lacks the potential for me. Silent Runner has a good attitude for the job and should run an honest race but probably lacks the potential of the selection. Silent Resent made a bright start before being found out last time.

Race 6 Santa Anita 11.34 Sauls Call (6/4)

Improving with experience and impressed again beating some of these convincingly over the extended 5f last month; arrives here on a hat-trick now and with more to come he is going to take a lot of beating; most likely winner.

We head to Santa Anita tonight for our second best bet Stateside and the progressive SAULS CALL can complete the hat-trick. He should go straight to the lead here and I think he’ll stay there. Hay Juan is also a nice colt and is the obvious threat to the selection – I think they’ll finish the 1-2. He showed a good attitude to prevail last time and should run well but I think experience will count for plenty and the selection has more of it. I Know Cash Flow was behind the fav on debut but improved to win last time and could be best of the rest. The fact he did it well last time only franks the form of the selection for me and he is definitely the most confident play in this field.
