THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 9 AT KEENELAND ON SATURDAY NIGHT!

Race 9 Keeneland 10.16 Ducale (11/10)

Smart colt who went very close on debut and then quickly improved to win by 2 lengths at Saratoga in the summer; paid the price for aggressive tactics last month; this easier and open to further improvement so big chance.

Sorry for the delay in getting US tips up for tonight. It was such a manic day with Champions Day at Ascot they got delayed a little. It’s a good night ahead though and I’m looking forward to seeing DUCALE out again. I think he’ll strip a lot fitter from that disappointing run last month and if he gets the fractions right tonight in this slightly easier grade he will take a lot of holding. Winter Pool won well last time but had previously been held by Mr. Tip so has a bit of work to do. Ontothelegend ran too bad to be true in a Grade 1 when last seen but has been given time since. I actually think he is good value to finish second to the fav as his earlier form was promising.

Race 9 Belmont Park 9.52 Quantitativbreezin (5/4)

Progressive filly who hacked up by over 8 lengths over track and trip last month; that was a very taking performance and she remains open to further improvement so looks well placed to follow up tonight; one to keep safe.

Given how impressive QUANTITATIVBREEZIN was over track and trip last time she gets a confident vote to come out on top again tonight. This is tougher so she’ll probably need to improve but she remains unexposed and there could be more to come yet. There isn’t a great deal of pace on so it wouldn’t surprise me is she pushed forward and looked to burn them all off. Esotica looks the danger. She also won really well on penultimate start but was poor up to this level last time. If she can put that run behind her where she was slowly away she could still have more to come. She was held by the selection on turf on earlier form though so probably has a bit to do even if bouncing back.
