NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS OVER JUMPS AT BANGOR ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON!
Bangor 2.13 Washington (10/11)
Created a big impression storming clear to make a winning start under Rules in a bumper at Fakenham around this time last year; followed up head in chest at Huntingdon next time; brings a lot of potential to the table now sent hurdling.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Olly Murphy-trained WASHINGTON jump a hurdle at Bangor on Tuesday. He won both his bumpers with considerable ease and with potential to improve now jumping obstacles he gets a confident vote to remain unbeaten. Hurlerontheditch also won his bumper and has since switched hands. He looks a nice type too but he might just be bumping into one here in the shape of the selection. I expect the pair to finish 1-2. Head Law cost a fair bit and also tackles hurdles for the first time following a wind op but I just think he might need a bit more time to be seen to best effect. Bob’s Bar made a winning start over hurdles at Hexham but that form is weak.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK!
Catterick 1.00 Manila Scouse (7/4)
Promising colt who took a big step forward from his debut run when denied just a head at Chester at the start of the month; bumped into a nice filly at Pontefract; experience should count for plenty and hard to oppose here.
With the original NB a non runner we have a replacement running over at Catterick this afternoon. MANILA SCOUSE looks poised to shed the maiden tag for Tim Easterby. He has run two big races the last twice and with further improvement on the cards he looks well placed to make the breakthrough. I thought he bumped into a lovely prospect in Greenbarn at Pontefract last time and even a repeat of that would probably see him go close this afternoon. Mystic Music is the most exposed runner in here but he was a very good second at Yarmouth last time so has to be considered albeit I think the selection will improve past him. Stylish Icon has potential and could also improve and get involved.
